Families receive keys to new homes in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil, Aghdara
Under the Great Return state programme launched by the President of Azerbaijan, dozens of families relocating to Aghdara and Jabrayil districts have been handed keys to their new homes, marking an important step in restoring communities and supporting displaced residents.
Thirty families have received keys to their new apartments in the village of Khorovlu, Jabrayil district, marking a significant step in local resettlement efforts. At this stage, a total of 131 people have relocated to Khorovlu, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
In parallel, families moving back to the Aghdara district have also been handed apartment keys in the villages of Childiran, Ashaghi Oratagh, Heyvali, Chapar, and Hasanriz.
The handover ceremonies were attended by representatives from the Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi, the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, and the local Restoration, Construction, and Management Service.
Resettlement figures in Aghdara show that three families (13 people) have returned to Childiran, 21 families (108 people) to Ashaghi Oratagh, seven families (34 people) to Heyvali, four families (17 people) to Chapar, and six families (29 people) to Hasanriz.
