Families receive keys to new homes in Azerbaijan’s Khojaly district
Khojaly District officials have handed the keys to a new group of internally displaced families resettled in the villages of Badara, Khanabad, Tazabina, and Khanyurdu.
The families began settling into houses rebuilt to modern standards, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Officials from ANAMA conducted mine-safety briefings for returning residents and distributed informational leaflets on explosive hazard awareness.
At this stage, the return of a total of 33 families has been ensured: 16 families (59 people) to Badara, 10 families (46 people) to Khanabad, 3 families (15 people) to Tazabina, and 4 families (25 people) to Khanyurdu.
Overall, the return process covers 105 families (404 people) to Badara, 98 families (438 people) to Khanabad, 137 families (505 people) to Khanyurdu, and 163 families (737 people) to Tazabina, according to the report.
