Foreign diplomats visit Azerbaijan’s Karabakh and East Zangezur regions
A delegation of foreign diplomats has begun a visit to Azerbaijan’s Karabakh and East Zangezur regions, with 150 representatives from 58 countries and nine international organisations taking part.
The delegation is accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
During the visit, the diplomats will inspect large-scale reconstruction, redevelopment and development projects in Khankendi and Shusha, as well as in the Aghdara and Kalbajar districts.
The delegation will also visit social and economic infrastructure facilities and examine historical and cultural heritage sites, including ongoing efforts to preserve and restore them.
The visit marks the 22nd trip by representatives of the diplomatic corps to Azerbaijan’s territories liberated from occupation since 2020.
