Foreign travellers observe progress of reconstruction activities in Lachin UPDATED

An international group of travellers, who is on a trip to Azerbaijan’s Lachin district, has watched the progress of reconstruction activities underway in the district, Report informs.

The travellers were informed about how Armenians devastated the infrastructure in Lachin during the almost 30-year period of occupation.

The tourists were told that the Lachin district, like other occupied cities and districts, was subjected to Armenian vandalism, and residential houses, historical buildings, as well as monuments were destroyed.

As part of the visit, the travellers were also given a tour of the houses built in the district.

The group of thirty people includes well-known travellers from 12 countries – the US, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Russia. They are following the route Fuzuli-Khojavand-Shusha-Kalbajar-Lachin-Zangilan-Jabrail-Aghdam.

The international group of travellers, who are currently visiting Azerbaijan’s liberated lands, has started touring Lachin City.

Lachin became the next stop for travellers following the route Fuzuli-Khojavand-Shusha-Kalbajar-Lachin-Zangilan-Jabrayil-Aghdam, according to Report.

The group of thirty persons included well-known travellers from 12 countries such as the US, the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Russia.

During the visit, the travellers will view the construction activities being carried out in the city of Lachin.

They are also expected to be informed about the houses and monuments destroyed during the period of decades-long of Armenian occupation.
