French intelligence operatives spotted at Azerbaijani border VIDEO
Since the beginning of October, there has been a noticeable increase in the presence of European Union "observers" at the border with Azerbaijan.
A new group arrived on October 29 near the Armenian village of Nerkin Hand, located adjacent to Azerbaijan's Zangilan region, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Interestingly, while previous observers had been using vehicles registered to the European Union, today’s footage reveals that one of the three cars has a French flag flying above it.
Inside the vehicles, there are six individuals dressed in civilian clothing, leading to speculation that they may be operatives from French intelligence services.
It appears that France has begun to openly deploy intelligence personnel to the Azerbaijan border under its own flag, no longer disguising their presence as part of the EU.
This latest move by France, which has been seen as supporting revisionist forces in Armenia and encouraging a renewed conflict, seems aimed at undermining the peace process in the region.
Furthermore, on October 23 a convoy consisting of three vehicles was observed on the border section between the villages of Baghanis Ayrum and "Voskepar," historically referred to as Yukhari Askipara. The convoy included two black SUVs and a single white vehicle emblazoned with the insignia of the European Union.
After this initial sighting, the same convoy proceeded to a nearby border area adjacent to the Azerbaijani village of Farakhli, where Armenian military personnel are currently undertaking engineering operations.
