French politician calls for eliminating NATO, EU

A French politician has called for eliminating NATO and EU.

Leader of the French Patriot movement Florian Philippot called for the dissolution of the NATO and the EU due to big rhetoric about inciting a war with Russia, Gazeta.ru reports citing Philippot’s message on X.

“A Romanian general blurted out that the war is not between Ukraine and Russia, but between the ‘democratic world’ and Russia, that is, NATO against Russia: obviously! Let's stop this rush towards disaster by eliminating the EU and NATO immediately!” the message says.

The politician noted that numerous Western officials force the society to wage a war with Russia.
