French president accuses presidential candidate of preparing "Frexit"
French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen has a secret plan to withdraw the country from the EU and create a "far-right alliance" with Poland and Hungary, French incumbent President Emmanuel Macron said while addressing the voters in Strasbourg, Daily Mail citing Macron’s statement.
"Marine Le Pen wants to withdraw France from the EU, but she doesn't dare to say this and that's not good," Macron said in an attempt to assess his opponent's foreign policy.
Macron added that French voters are too loyal to Europe to accept the so-called Frexit [similar with Brexit], so Le Pen may overhaul the EU from within after uniting with the Polish and Hungarian populist governments.
"The EU has changed the life of this country," the French president concluded, accusing Le Pen that her plans are useless.
