Amid these shifts, Russia’s Ministry of Energy announced it is preparing a draft decree to temporarily ban gasoline exports starting April 1, 2026. Sources indicate the restrictions could last until July 31 and would cover all market participants.
Currently, an export ban for traders is already in effect and will remain until the end of July, while partial restrictions for producers have been lifted.
