Garabagh Armenian asks for Azerbaijani citizenship in Azerbaijani language VIDEO

25 September 2023 16:54

A citizen of Armenian origin who left for Armenia has declared his desire to accept Azerbaijani citizenship.

Footage of the man expressing his wish to reintegrate into Azerbaijan was shown in a report by the AzTV channel, Caliber.Az reports.

The citizen of Armenian origin, speaking in Azerbaijani, mentioned that he moved to Agdere from Yerevan.

“The police and soldiers treat us well and provide all possible assistance. We have no dissatisfaction with them. They give us bread and other basic necessities. We want to accept Azerbaijani citizenship,” said the resident of Armenian origin.

In addition, separatist representatives located in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan are forcibly expelling local residents from their homes.

Gregory, a resident of Agdere of Armenian origin, told Report about this (he refused to give his last name).

According to him, unlike representatives of the bandit junta, the Azerbaijani side does not exert any pressure on the civilian population of Karabakh.

Gregory noted that he now intends to move to Armenia.

“The representative of the executive branch (of the separatist regime - ed.) told us to leave for Armenia. They are forcibly evicting us from our homes,” said Gregory.

The man also noted that he used to have many Azerbaijani friends: “We worked together, lived together. I have been to Baku many times. Azerbaijanis are good people. I used to do construction. After the Garabagh war, he received Armenian citizenship. And now the Azerbaijani side is not exerting any pressure on us,” he said.
