Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine sign protocol to improve free trade
The Georgian Foreign Ministry has said that the Georgian, Azerbaijani, Moldovan and Ukrainian foreign ministers signed a protocol on the procedure for determining the country - the producer of goods for an agreement on the creation of a free trade zone during the meeting of the Organisation for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM) in New York.
“The foreign ministers of the Organisation for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM) held the 39th meeting of the Council of Ministers as part of the high-level week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly. A protocol on the procedure for determining the country - the producer of goods for the agreement on the establishment of a free trade zone was signed within the 39th meeting,” Caliber.Az reports on September 21 referring to the ministry.
Moreover, the countries have signed a convention on mutual assistance in consular issues. The foreign ministers of the four countries noted the importance of coordinated actions on the international platform, the Georgian foreign ministry added.
