Budapest to host Georgia-Hungary intergovernmental summit soon
The intergovernmental summit between Georgia and Hungary, scheduled for June 11 in Budapest, will see the signing of multiple cooperation agreements spanning agriculture, energy, culture, innovation, and sports.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will receive his Georgian counterpart during a personal meeting, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
Bilateral negotiations are also scheduled between members of the two countries' cabinets of ministers.
Following the intergovernmental commission meeting, a joint press conference with Irakli Kobakhidze and Viktor Orbán is planned to be held.
During his official visit to Hungary, the Georgian prime minister will meet with Hungarian President Tamás Sulyok and Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly László Kövér.
The previous meeting between the heads of government of Georgia and Hungary also took place in Budapest. It was held as part of the Conservative Political Action Conference at the end of May.
