Georgian delegation of travellers arrives in Azerbaijan’s Shusha PHOTO
The second group of travellers from Georgia has arrived in Azerbaijan’s Shusha City.
The delegation members will tour the city's attractions and observe the ongoing reconstruction and restoration efforts, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The tourists will visit the Natavan Palace, the Khan gizi Spring, and Shahbulag, as well as the museum-mausoleum complex of Molla Panah Vagif and Jidir Duzu (Jidir Plain).
A traveller from Georgia Shaban Mammadov has expressed hope to once again see the beauty of Karabakh in the future.
He mentioned that he arrived in Shusha with his family and looks forward to visiting the liberated Azerbaijani territories with friends in the future.
"I would like my friends and family from Georgia to see this beautiful city. I have discovered many wonderful places here, and I hope to return again," he added.
Another traveller from Georgia Sevda Muzashvili has expressed an immense sense of pride for the Azerbaijani people.
"I can't express how happy I am to be here and how glad I am that Azerbaijan has regained its historic territories," she said.
The traveler emphasised that she looks forward to visiting the liberated Azerbaijani areas again in the future.
"As soon as the opportunity arises, I will come back," she added.
Three groups of travellers from Georgia have arrived in Azerbaijan, with the aim of observing the construction and restoration efforts in the region. The visit to the liberated territories will conclude on October 22.
