Georgian travellers discover Khankandi's transformation A journey through reconstruction, resilience
A second group of Georgian travellers visiting Azerbaijan has toured Khankandi, a city recently liberated from Armenian occupation.
The visitors expressed admiration for the extensive reconstruction efforts underway in the area, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
During their visit, the group witnessed firsthand the lasting impacts of the Armenian occupation and explored significant local sites, including the stadium, Garabagh University, and various historical and cultural monuments.
This group is part of a larger initiative that includes three groups of 30 travellers from Georgia, aimed at familiarizing participants with the ongoing construction and rehabilitation projects in the region. The travellers' visit to the liberated territories is scheduled to conclude on October 22.
