German MoD comments on reports about Leopard tanks destroyed in Ukraine

The German Defence Ministry has said Berlin has no information about the Leopard tanks which might have been destroyed in Ukraine.

A Defence Ministry spokesman declined to comment on whether the destroyed tanks would be replaced with new equipment, Tagesschau reported.

Russia said that its military destroyed at least seven Leopard tanks supplied by the West during military operations in Ukraine.

The paper noted that Russia often makes statements about the destruction of Ukrainian equipment which are not backed up by evidence.
