German president to visit Kazakhstan on state visit

German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will arrive in Kazakhstan on a state visit.

Steinmeier will stay in Kazakhstan from June 19 to 21, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.

During this time, he will speak at the Forum of Rectors of Kazakh and German Universities.

In addition, the presidents of the two countries will take part in the Kazakh-German business forum.

Frank-Walter Steinmeier plans to visit the Mangustau region and get acquainted with the region’s economic potential.

The German president also plans to open the Kazakh-German Institute of Engineering.

He will also be present at the launch ceremony of trial drilling at the green hydrogen production plant of the Swedish-German company Svevind.
