Girl with Lithuanian, Azerbaijani flags at rally in Vienna for sake of justice for Khojaly PHOTO
Uncompromising fighter against Armenian falsifications, and eyewitness to the atrocities of the Armenian army in Khojaly, Lithuanian journalist Richardas Lapaitis has shared a touching post on Facebook.
“When I came to the famous Heldenplatz square in Vienna, the capital of Austria, where the rally in memory of the Khojaly genocide was held, I noticed my native flag of Lithuania among many other flags. People from 74 cities, 31 countries, and more than 1,000 delegates gathered here. I saw young Azerbaijani girl Humay Mustafazade, holding the Lithuanian and Azerbaijani flags,” Lapaitis wrote.
“That day was very cold and windy. The rally has been delayed. Sometimes it snowed. However, the student from Lithuanian Kaunas city was holding the Lithuanian flag. She stood with such a childish smile as if saying: everything is fine! We're here for a noble cause! This is a simple act we can do for the sake of justice for Khojaly. Such noble young people are coming to Lithuania from Azerbaijan. I'm proud of them! I just want to say - thank you!” he said.
