17 December 2025 18:00

Another group of internally displaced persons arriving in the settlement of Girmizi Bazar in the Khojavand district received the keys to their new homes.

ANAMA officials provided the newcomers with detailed information on the risks of mines and unexploded ordnance, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

They were advised to stay away from unfamiliar objects and report any suspicious items to the relevant authorities.

The key handover ceremony was attended by representatives from the Special Presidential Office for the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, and other officials. Families warmly received the keys and settled into their homes.

Returning displaced persons expressed great satisfaction with the state’s care and deep gratitude to the country’s leadership for creating modern living conditions. Residents paid respectful tribute to the heroic martyrs who gave their lives to achieve this historic victory and liberate their lands from occupation, praying for their souls.

At the same time, they wished long life and good health to the veterans who displayed courage in combat, emphasising that the revival of liberated territories was made possible through their dedication. They noted that the new life beginning today in Girmizi Bazar is also a result of the victory granted to them by these martyrs and veterans.

It should be noted that at this stage, 18 families — a total of 90 people — have been relocated to the village of Girmizi Bazar. They had previously been temporarily settled in various locations.
