Great Return: 18 Azerbaijani families resettle in liberated Horovlu village
As part of Azerbaijan’s ongoing Great Return initiative, 18 families, comprising 66 people, have returned to the village of Horovlu in the Jabrayil district.
The families had previously been living temporarily in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The return is being carried out under the directive of President Ilham Aliyev, aimed at resettling residents in territories recently liberated from occupation.
Returning residents expressed their gratitude to President Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state support provided. They also paid tribute to the Azerbaijani army, honouring the soldiers and officers who contributed to the liberation of the lands, and remembered the martyrs who gave their lives for this sacred mission.
