Great Return: 28 Azerbaijani families receive keys to new homes in Tazabina PHOTO / Updated
A new group of former internally displaced persons has been handed the keys to their new homes in the village of Tazabina in the Khojaly district.
Officials from the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, along with representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, attended the key handover ceremony, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
At this stage, 28 families — a total of 126 people — have returned to the village as part of Azerbaijan’s Great Return programme, which aims to facilitate the resettlement of citizens to territories liberated after the conflict.

Another group of former internally displaced families has begun resettling in the villages of Ballidja and Tezebina in the Khojaly district.
Thus, 15 families, comprising 53 people, have moved to Ballija, while 28 families, or 126 people, have settled in Tazabina, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The relocation is part of ongoing efforts to facilitate the return of displaced populations to their native communities in the region.
