Great Return: Fifteen Azerbaijani families receive keys to new homes in Khidirli PHOTO
As many as fifteen families have returned to the village of Khidirli in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district, where they were presented with keys to newly built homes as part of the country’s ongoing Great Return programme.
The ceremony was attended by officials from the Special Presidential Representative’s Office for the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend districts, along with representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
In total, 73 people were resettled in this latest phase. Their arrival brings the number of families that have so far returned to Khidirli to 555, comprising 2,195 people.

Another group of former internally displaced residents has returned to the village of Khidirli in the Aghdam district as part of the government’s Great Return initiative.
Thus, 15 families, comprising 73 people in total, are taking part in the latest stage of the repatriation, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
These families had previously been temporarily accommodated in various parts of the country, including dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
With this latest return, the total number of families resettled in Khidirli has reached 555, representing 2,195 individuals.
