Great Return: Azerbaijan resettles 23 more families to liberated Lachin PHOTO

The return of former internally displaced persons (IDPs) to the restored city of Lachin continues in line with the presidential instruction.

On January 30, another migration caravan was sent from Gobu Park 3 residential complex in Garadagh district of Baku city, Caliber.Az reports.

At this stage, 23 more families - 72 people - are returning to Lachin city.

The displaced families will settle in the houses they once lived in Lachin, which were restored after the end of the occupation.

Thus, 431 families or 1,627 people will be permanently settled in the city.

The Azerbaijani army took full control of Lachin city along with the adjacent Zabukh and Sus villages on August 26, 2022.
