Great Return continues as 82 Azerbaijani families leave for villages across Karabakh
Eighty-two Azerbaijani families comprising 368 people have departed the capital Baku for resettlement in several villages across Aghdara, Khojavand, and Jabrayil regions as part of the ongoing state-run Great Return program.
The resettlement includes the villages of Childiran, Ashagi Oratagh, Heyvali, Chapar and Hasanriz in the Aghdara region, the village of Khojavand in the Khojavand region, as well as the village of Gorovlu in the Jabrayil district, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The process is being carried out in line with the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Before leaving for their native lands, the returnees expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for comprehensive state support in their relocation. They also thanked the Azerbaijani Army, soldiers and officers, and honoured the memory of the martyrs who lost their lives for the liberation of the country’s territories.
