Heavy investments made in transport infrastructure in liberated Azerbaijani lands

In 2022, significant investments were made in the expansion, and diversification of both road and railway infrastructure in the Azerbaijani territories liberated from occupation.

Report informs that the remarks came from the Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev on February 20.

According to the minister, it has already been confirmed that the Zangezur corridor is a priority for the development of Azerbaijan and the entire region.

“Here I would like to specifically mention the Horadiz-Agband railway. Most of the work in connection with the railway was completed in 2022. We plan to fully complete this project, at least the Azerbaijani part of it, in 2023-2024," Nabiyev said.
