Human remains discovered in Gubadli

On May 6, the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan received information about the discovery of buried fragments of skull, bones and remains presumably belonging to a human being.

These fragments were discovered during excavation works carried out as part of extensive restoration and rehabilitation works near Khanlig village of Gubadli district, Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan. 

A full inspection of the site is currently underway. An investigation has been launched by the Gubadli District Prosecutor's Office.

The public will be informed after the search operations are completed and the conclusions of the relevant expertise are received.
