Hungary-led Soltanli village reconstruction in Karabakh to accommodate 6,000 residents
The reconstruction project of Soltanli village in Jabrayil District, within the framework of which residential houses and communal facilities will be built, will allow the resettling of almost 6,000 people there.
"We are currently focused on the reconstruction of Soltanli. This is a complex and large-scale project, residential houses, a doctor's office, and communal facilities will be built here, which will make it possible to resettle almost 6,000 people," Hungarian ambassador to Azerbaijan Tamás Jozsef Torman told local media, as per Caliber.Az.
According to the ambassador, Hungarian companies are keen to participate in other projects in the Karabakh region, primarily related to the reconstruction of water treatment facilities and sewerage, water supply networks, and green energy projects.
"Hungarian firms are currently looking at potential projects to apply their energies. Some of them have already visited the Alat Free Economic Zone and other industrial parks in Azerbaijan. I am sure that in the future, Hungarian companies will also visit new industrial parks in Karabakh and look for opportunities there as well," Torman said.
