ICGB authorised to transport natural gas along Gas Interconnector Greece–Bulgaria

A permit for the transportation of natural gas has been issued to the operator of Gas Interconnector Greece–Bulgaria ICGB.

The day before the beginning of the IGB commercial operation, the Bulgarian Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) permitted to start pumping natural gas to the operating company, the company told Report.

This final document confirms that the company has successfully fulfilled all the conditions upon the license for the transportation of natural gas through the IGB gas pipeline issued in November 2021.

Changing of gas pipeline commissioning date to October 1, 2022 was also approved.
