IDF: Israel struck over 720 military infrastructure facilities in Iran since June 13
As part of Operation “Rising Lion,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have struck more than 170 targets and over 720 military infrastructure facilities in Iran in less than three days, according to the IDF’s Telegram channel.
The IDF stated that the army continues to intensify its strike against the Iranian nuclear threat, “depriving it of critically important capabilities and components for weapon production,” per Caliber.Az.
On June 13, Israel launched a comprehensive military campaign dubbed "Operation Rising Lion," targeting over 100 sites across Iran, including nuclear facilities in Natanz, Khondab, and Khorramabad. The strikes resulted in the deaths of several high-ranking Iranian officials, such as IRGC commander Hossein Salami and nuclear scientists Fereydoon Abbasi and Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi.
In response, Iran initiated a large-scale attack involving over 150 ballistic missiles and more than 100 drones, marking the most extensive Iranian strike on Israel to date. The missiles targeted various locations, including Tel Aviv and northern Israel, resulting in at least 22 injuries. Additionally, a ballistic missile fired from Yemen by Houthi rebels, coordinated with Iran, landed in Hebron, West Bank, injuring five Palestinians.
On June 14, Iranian missiles struck northern Israel, causing at least three deaths and injuring 13 others. The Israeli military reported intercepting several incoming projectiles, but some missiles successfully hit their targets. On June 15, the Israeli side reported the death toll climbing up to 13.
