International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation against vandalism in France Regarding monument to Azerbaijani poetess

The International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation has said that the desecration of the monument to famous Azerbaijani poetess Khurshidbanu Natavan in France is an act of vandalism.

The Foundation called for the prevention of such actions and careful attention to the preservation of samples of Turkic cultural heritage throughout the world, Report informs citing the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.

This act of vandalism was committed against the ancient and rich common Turkic cultural heritage, the Foundation added.

To recap, Natavan’s statue in France's Évian-les-Bains was vandalised by unknown individuals in late December 2023. A protective covering has been wrapped over it to protect the statue.
