Azerbaijan and Latvia are poised to sign six new agreements in the near future, a move anticipated to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

This was announced by Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture, Majnun Mammadov, during an event commemorating the 107th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Minister Mammadov highlighted that, to date, a total of 47 agreements have already been signed under the existing legal framework between Azerbaijan and Latvia. He added that drafts of six additional documents are currently under review, and their imminent signing is expected to open new avenues for collaboration across various sectors.

“The signing of these agreements in the near future will create fresh opportunities for the further development of cooperation between our countries,” Mammadov stated.
