Top Turkish, Azerbaijani officials strengthen strategic media ties within Antalya Forum
Head of Communications of the Presidential Administration of Türkiye, Burhanettin Duran has published a post on his X account about a meeting with Azerbaijani Presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev.
“Within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (#ADF2026), we met with Hikmet Hajiyev, Deputy President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, my esteemed brother,” he wrote.
According to Duran, the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan continue to strengthen in every field, underpinned by our shared history and strong spirit of cooperation.
“In our meeting, we focused on the joint steps that can be taken in the areas of communication, media, and public diplomacy. We reaffirmed our consensus on combating disinformation, effectively disseminating accurate information, and enhancing coordination in strategic communication.”
He affirmed that, in line with the vision set forth by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Türkiye will continue to maintain strong cooperation in close contact with its friendly and brotherly Azerbaijan.
“Thank you for our productive and efficient meeting, my brother,” Hajiyev wrote on X in response.
