Iran says it highly appreciates Azerbaijan’s support
Iran has expressed appreciation for the support it has received from regional partners, including Azerbaijan, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh.
Speaking to journalists, Khatibzadeh said Tehran is grateful to friendly countries in the region for their continued backing, as reported by domestic media.
He also referred to a recent phone conversation between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“During the conversation between the leaders of the two countries, a decision was made to further develop and strengthen bilateral relations,” he noted.
Khatibzadeh emphasised that Iran’s relations with regional countries remain constructive and continue to develop positively.
“Our relations with the countries of the region are positive in nature. We highly appreciate the solidarity and support we receive from the countries of the region,” the Iranian deputy foreign minister said.
