Official: Georgia hails model relations with Azerbaijan, Armenia
Georgia enjoys exemplary relations with both Azerbaijan and Armenia, the head of the Georgian government administration, Levan Zhorzholiani, has said.
Speaking to reporters, Zhorzholiani stressed that Tbilisi maintains “very strong communication” with both neighbouring states at the government level, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
He noted that Georgia serves as a vital corridor for eight landlocked countries — a role that, he said, underscores the country’s strategic importance.
“This also concerns Azerbaijan and Armenia, and in this respect, Georgia’s role and position are very important,” he added.
Zhorzholiani also underlined Georgia’s close cooperation with Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the field of freight transportation, describing logistics connectivity as a key priority for the region.
