Armenian civil society delegation visits Baku to continue peace dialogue
On November 21, 2025, a delegation of representatives from Armenian civil society arrived in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
According to Caliber.Az, the visit serves as a reciprocal trip following an Azerbaijani delegation’s visit to Yerevan on October 21–22, 2025. The exchanges form part of ongoing efforts by civil society actors from both countries to maintain dialogue under a peace agenda established after the adoption of the Joint Declaration on August 8 in Washington.
The October roundtable in Yerevan marked the first bilateral civil society initiative since the signing of the Joint Declaration.
Organised by the Armenian public organisation Research Centre for Security Policy, the discussions focused on promoting peace, building mutual trust, exploring avenues for sustainable economic cooperation in the South Caucasus, and establishing direct, long-term contacts between civil society representatives from Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Participants, including officials and experts from both countries, emphasised the importance of inclusive dialogue and pledged to continue collaboration in pursuit of lasting regional peace.
