Iran executes man accused of spying for US, Israeli intelligence
Iranian authorities have executed a man identified as Irfan Shakurzadeh, who was accused of collaborating with U.S. and Israeli intelligence services, according to reports from Fars News Agency.
Iranian sources said Shakurzadeh had worked at a scientific organisation involved in satellite development before allegedly establishing contact with foreign intelligence services. He was accused of attempting to transfer classified information abroad.
The case reportedly involved allegations of cooperation with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Israel’s intelligence service Mossad.
According to Fars, the suspect allegedly exchanged information after completing a cooperation form with Mossad, including personal and family details, workplace information, job responsibilities, and access level.
