Iran rejects US negotiation terms as overly harsh, illogical
Iran’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that the country is not engaging in negotiations with the United States, describing the proposed terms as unacceptable and overly strict, TASS reports.
Officials acknowledged receiving proposals from intermediaries aimed at ending the conflict but said the terms presented by the US are “excessively harsh and illogical.”
According to recent US intelligence assessments, Iranian leaders currently believe their position in the ongoing conflict gives them leverage and are not willing to negotiate an end to the war, prioritising continued military pressure instead.
Iran has also rejected a reported US 15‑point peace proposal, calling it unfair and “non‑starter” while asserting that any resolution must meet broader demands, including guarantees against future hostilities.
