The facility was revealed by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami and the head of the IRGC Aerospace Force, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh. According to the broadcast, the facility contains a variety of missiles, including the Emad, Qadr, and Qiam types, which are powered by liquid fuel. However, the majority of the facility, with 90 per cent of its sections, was not shown to the public.
During the unveiling, Major General Salami spoke highly of the IRGC’s recent military operations, particularly the True Promise I and II missions conducted against Israeli targets in April and October 2024. These operations, he stated, have bolstered Iran's missile capabilities and demonstrated the growth of the nation's strategic power.
Salami dismissed claims that Iran’s missile production capabilities had been hindered, asserting that the country’s missile strength has continued to grow. He highlighted that Iran is constantly upgrading its missile systems, improving their quantity, quality, and design.
Looking ahead, Salami noted that the IRGC Aerospace Force is preparing to unveil even more advanced missiles and missile-related infrastructure in the near future, signaling an ongoing expansion of Iran’s missile capabilities. The revelation of the new missile facility further underscores the IRGC's strategic emphasis on strengthening its missile defense and deterrent capabilities.
