Iran's attacks on Gulf states in numbers
Since the February 28 U.S. and Israeli air assault on Iran, the country has launched a massive retaliation wave of attacks across the Gulf, according to detailed data released by four affected nations, Reuters shares.
United Arab Emirates: Authorities reported 189 ballistic missiles launched, of which 175 were intercepted, 13 fell into the sea, and one landed on UAE territory. In addition, 941 drones were detected, with 876 intercepted and 65 landing in the country. Eight cruise missiles were detected and destroyed.
Qatar: The Gulf nation recorded 101 ballistic missiles, 98 of which were intercepted. Iranian drones numbered 39, with 24 intercepted. Three cruise missiles were detected and intercepted, alongside two Sukhoi SU-24 aircraft, which were also intercepted.
Bahrain: Officials confirmed the destruction of 73 missiles and 91 drones.
Kuwait: The country reported intercepting 178 ballistic missiles and 384 drones.
No detailed figures were available from Saudi Arabia or Oman.
The data underscores the scale of Iran’s retaliation following the U.S.-Israeli strikes.
