Iranian embassy denies reports of ambassador Amani losing eye in pager blast
Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, did not lose his eye as a result of a pager explosion.
Iranian embassy in Beirut emphasised that media reports about Amani's physical condition and vision are false, Caliber.Az quotes the Iranian embassy as saying on X.

“We inform our compatriots and media representatives that Ambassador Amani's treatment process is progressing well, and media reports about his physical condition and vision are false,” the statement said.
Notably, Israeli media previously reported that Mojtaba Amani, the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, lost one eye and sustained severe injuries to the other when a pager he was carrying exploded on September 17.
