A large-scale operation, KISKAÇ-34, targeting the FETÖ terrorist organization was conducted across 23 provinces in Türkiye last week, resulting in the detention of more than 100 individuals.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed the operation on his social media platform X, providing details about the extensive crackdown, Caliber.Az reports.

According to Yerlikaya, 110 suspects with alleged links to FETÖ were detained, 36 of whom were arrested, while two were released under judicial control provisions.
The detainees face charges related to membership in a terrorist organization, as well as financing and promoting FETÖ activities on social media platforms. The operation also targeted individuals who were previously sentenced to prison terms and those wanted in connection with ongoing FETÖ investigations.
This operation is part of Türkiye's continued efforts to dismantle FETÖ and eliminate its network, which has been linked to multiple criminal activities and the 2016 coup attempt.
FETÖ, which was initially founded in the late 1960s as a supposed "religious movement," had gradually infiltrated various sectors of society, including the military and judiciary, over the course of decades. The failed coup attempt brought to light their long-term and covert agenda.
