Iranian General dismisses US threats, vows defiance
Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, deputy commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), strongly rejected recent threats from US President Donald Trump, declaring that Iran will not submit to American domination.
Vahidi argued that the United States is experiencing a strategic decline, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
“The mechanisms the US once relied on to dominate the world have lost their effectiveness,” he said, “forcing Washington to resort to force, war, terrorism, and plunder to pursue its objectives.”
He criticized actions such as the alleged kidnapping of a foreign president and the assassination of Martyr Qassem Soleimani, stating that they “do not demonstrate power, but rather reflect humiliation and signs of collapse.”
Vahidi highlighted the enduring impact of Soleimani’s legacy, citing Operation Al-Aqsa Flood as evidence of his influence. “The outcome of Martyr Soleimani’s efforts and struggles exposed the true nature of the Israeli regime to the world, resulting in it becoming the most widely despised regime globally,” he said.
The General emphasized that Soleimani’s assassination did not weaken Iran. “The Iranian nation has grown stronger, and Soleimani’s path and influence continue to guide the resistance more powerfully than before,” he asserted.
Concluding his remarks, the IRGC deputy commander stated that Iran does not fear its enemies and will not submit to US domination. “Steadfastness will ensure that the future belongs to the Iranian nation, and enemy rhetoric should not be a cause for intimidation,” he added.
