US-Israeli strike on Iranian port destroys 16 commercial vessels updated
A US-Israeli strike on the Iranian port of Bandar Lengeh has resulted in the destruction of 16 commercial vessels, according to a report by Al Arabiya.
The attack targeted the port, located in Iran’s southern Hormozgan province along the Persian Gulf. While the scale of the damage includes the loss of multiple merchant ships, no information has been released regarding the countries to which the vessels belonged.

US and Israeli forces carried out strikes on the port city of Bandar Lengeh in Iran’s Hormozgan province, according to the British maritime security firm Ambrey, which monitors threats to shipping and infrastructure in the region.
Ambrey reported that the joint strike targeted the port area, adding that there have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage to commercial vessels operating nearby.
Bandar Lengeh, located along the Persian Gulf, serves as an important transit hub for regional trade, including shipping links with Kuwait. The port also operates as a designated special economic zone, underscoring its commercial significance.
