Iraq, Türkiye discuss energy, water, regional security cooperation in Baghdad talks
Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi has held a meeting with Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad Anil Bora Inan to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across key strategic sectors.
According to a statement from the Iraqi Prime Minister’s press office, the discussions focused on enhancing collaboration in areas including oil exports, water resource management, the strategic development road project, and security coordination, with both sides stressing the importance of advancing mutual interests, Caliber.Az reports.

The meeting also reviewed broader regional developments, including efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East. The two sides underlined the importance of supporting ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran, and highlighted the role of diplomacy and dialogue in achieving long-term regional and global stability.
