Israel eliminates another Hezbollah leader in Lebanon
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the elimination of Nabil Kauk, a member of the central council of the Shiite party Hezbollah, in a targeted airstrike in Lebanon on September 28.
According to a statement from the army's press service, Kauk was considered close to the leadership of the terrorist organization Hezbollah and was directly involved in preparing attacks against the State of Israel and its citizens, including in recent days, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
"He frequently appeared in the media, representing Hezbollah to the Shiite population of Lebanon and articulating its positions in political, military, and strategic matters," the statement noted.
"The Israeli Defense Forces continues to identify and eliminate commanders of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, as well as act against all who pose a threat to the citizens of the State of Israel," military officials declared.
