Israel issues evacuation warning ahead of planned airstrike on Gaza high-rise PHOTO
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have issued a fresh warning to residents in Gaza City, urging the evacuation of civilians from the vicinity of a high-rise building that is expected to be targeted in an imminent airstrike.
The announcement was made by IDF Arabic-language spokesperson Colonel Avichay Adraee, who posted the warning on his official social media channels, Caliber.Az reports.

"The Israel Defence Forces will soon strike the building due to the presence of Hamas infrastructure inside or nearby," Adraee stated, without specifying the exact location of the building in question.
The warning is part of an ongoing campaign by the IDF to dismantle what it describes as Hamas military and surveillance infrastructure embedded within civilian urban environments. In recent days, several 10- to 15-storey buildings in Gaza City have been destroyed by Israeli airstrikes, following similar evacuation warnings. The military claims these structures were being used for the surveillance of IDF troop movements and other operational activities.
The IDF has again directed civilians to relocate to designated humanitarian zones in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, which Israel claims are outside the scope of military operations. Human rights groups, however, have raised concerns over the safety and sufficiency of these zones, citing ongoing risks and the limited capacity of humanitarian aid services in the area.
