Israel orders intensified strikes on Iran after missile attacks on civilians
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has announced that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have ordered the military to ramp up its operations against Iran, targeting both strategic infrastructure and government sites in Tehran. The move comes in retaliation for recent missile attacks launched by Iran against Israeli civilian areas.
In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Katz condemned Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for orchestrating the strikes from deep within a fortified bunker, calling the actions a blatant violation of international norms, Caliber.Az reports.

“The cowardly Iranian dictator sits deep in a fortified bunker while directing targeted attacks on Israeli hospitals and residential homes,” Katz wrote. “These are war crimes of the most serious kind – and Khamenei will be held accountable for his crimes.”
He added that in response to these acts, the Israeli leadership had taken decisive action:
“Together with the Prime Minister, we have instructed the IDF to intensify its strikes on Iran’s strategic facilities and government buildings in Tehran in order to neutralise the threat to the State of Israel and to destabilise the Ayatollah regime.”
