Israel’s Netanyahu convenes meeting with security chiefs
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has convened a meeting with the participation of the heads of the country's key security agencies to discuss the situation around the Gaza Strip.
The meeting is attended by the country's Minister of Defence Yoav Galant, Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces Herzi Halevi and other high-ranking heads of defence structures, TASS reports.
On October 7 morning, a combined attack was carried out against Israel. From the very beginning, a massive rocket attack began from the Gaza Strip, followed by infiltration of militants by land, water and air.
In response to massive rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) declared a state of readiness for a potential conflict. In addition, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced a large-scale mobilization of reservists.
