Israeli forces target Hezbollah strongholds, neutralise dozens of militant sites VIDEO
On October 21, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched strikes on hundreds of targets in Lebanon, including three Hezbollah aviation command centres, part of the group’s 127th unit.
These headquarters had been preparing drone assaults, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
The military continues to operate in southern Lebanon, striking Hezbollah from both land and air. Dozens of targets have been destroyed, and a significant amount of weaponry has been neutralised. The IDF also identified a Hezbollah military base, which was hit by an airstrike, resulting in the deaths of around 15 militants.
Meanwhile, the IDF is continuing its ground operation in the Jabalia area, in the northern Gaza Strip. According to the IDF's press service, the army organised the evacuation of civilians to safer zones. In the process, dozens of terrorists attempting to flee Jabalia were detained, and around ten were eliminated.
In a separate incident, the Israeli Air Force targeted a rocket launcher in the Rafah area.
Air raid sirens were heard in Tel Aviv, its surrounding areas, and northern regions of Israel, warning the population of potential danger. The military also reported sirens being triggered in the Upper Galilee region and the Golan Heights in the north of the country.
In response to the ongoing conflict in the region, Air France has extended the suspension of its flights from Paris to Tel Aviv until October 29 and to Beirut until November 30.
"Air France is monitoring the situation in the Middle East in real-time. The resumption of flights will depend on assessments of the conditions on the ground," the airline told the broadcaster.
The company added that affected customers would be contacted individually and offered the option to reschedule their flights or receive a refund. Similarly, German airline Lufthansa has also prolonged its suspension of flights to Tel Aviv until November 10, citing the intensification of the conflict in the Middle East in both cases.
