Kremlin: West establishes friendly ties with some countries to oust Russia

Russia's presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that the West is trying to establish friendly relations with some countries to oust Russia from this region, rather than for its own sake.

Peskov made these remarks in an interview with “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" TV show on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, TASS reports.

“The West has its own accents. As a rule, it does not establish friendly relations for its own sake. It is trying to push Russia out of certain regions. We do not think that this policy has any prospects, we know this policy, we are accustomed to it. We also learned to build our relations to hedge against these risks,” he noted.
