Kuwait says air defences intercept missiles, drones
Kuwait's military said on June 2 that its air defence systems were actively intercepting hostile missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles targeting the country, as tensions continued to rise across the Gulf region.
In a statement, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army said air defence units were "repelling attacks by hostile missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles" and urged residents to follow official safety instructions,” Caliber.Az reports.

"The Army General Staff notes that any sounds of explosions, if heard, are the result of hostile strikes being intercepted by air defense systems," the statement said.
The announcement came shortly after the U.S. military reported that Iranian drones targeting American forces in Kuwait had failed to reach their intended objectives.
No casualties or significant damage have been reported in Kuwait following the latest attacks, according to U.S. and Kuwaiti authorities.
