Kyrgyzstan sentences three in child sale case VIDEO
Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security has reported the outcome of a court case involving Kyrgyz, Kazakh, and Israeli citizens in connection with the sale of children from the country.
The convicted individuals received lengthy prison sentences along with confiscation of their property, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.
Reports indicate that a Kazakh citizen purchased three children from a Kyrgyz national, while two other children came under full guardianship.
The children were taken abroad to produce videos of a specific nature intended for sale.
An Israeli citizen was also involved in the scheme.
The Kazakh woman was sentenced to 12 years in prison, and the Kyrgyz man who sold the children received an 11-year prison term.
